记录了1949年中华人民共和国成立前后，张治中和司徒雷登两个人对个人去留的选择。传说可令持者所向披靡的潜龙刀，是一柄只能被心存正义之士运用的神兵利器，任何人若本着私心而求注定失败。一天，桃源镇正受着野猪王及神秘的夜行女飞贼的袭击破坏，为了对付怪兽与飞贼，拯救镇民，洪亮决定去寻这柄传说中的绝世兵器，途中遇自称知道潜龙刀的藏处，来自桃源仙境的仙鸟，面对潜龙刀藏处中不为人知的无穷危机，洪亮一心只希望尽力取得宝刀回来，打败野猪王救回他的一众朋友……。Alex Freed is a literature professor.
