The complete eighth series of the ITV crime thriller based on the novels by Ann Cleeves. The show follows Detective Chief Inspector Vera Stanhope (Brenda Blethyn), Detective Sergeant Aiden Healy (Kenny Doughty) and their team as they carry out various murder investigations across Northumberland. The episodes are: 'Blood and Bone', 'Black Ice', 'Home' and 'Darkwater'.。一场白首夫妻的“离婚大作战”，一次跨越五十年的“寻找真相之旅”。风起时，谁在说“要离别”？雨停后，听我说“我爱你”。。爾仔（吳肇軒飾演）女友茹可以（盧惠敏飾演）在法國工作假期計劃期間突然失蹤，爾仔守住可以留下的書店希望等對方歸來。及後書店生意每況愈下，爾仔為維持書店，於是接受好友拖羅（繆浩昌飾演）的意見，在書店開設「身後事務所」以增加收入，專責代處理逝者遺物，卻因此遇上亡魂，為死者解開心結。。
