以人类的记忆为主题，描写运用脑科学进行审判的特殊律师的法庭推理剧。主角是现役律师，同时也是大学研究室研究脑记忆的特任准教授海堂梓。故事的主轴是某位雕刻家的杀人事件，嫌犯是他的妻子冬川沙也加，过去两个婚姻伴侣也神秘地死去，因而被称为绝代恶女的冬川因杀人嫌疑被起诉，故事从委托海堂辩护开始。。The warmhearted story of Polish immigrant and mathematician Stan Ulam, who moved to the U.S. in the 1930s. Stan deals with the difficul t losses of family and friends all while helping to create the hydrogen bomb and the first computer. 波兰科学家乌兰姆于上世纪30年代移居到美国，他在帮助科研团队制作氢弹的过程中，他还要处理和面对一些个人得失。。
